How to Let Go Of Worrying And Anxiety

Worry, doubts, emotional distress, depression, and anxiety are consistently on our minds.

We give our fears more power and fuel our anxieties to be stronger.

Many of us also use our imagination for the wrong things; we regret the past and overthink the future. We waste our present life stressing over things we can’t control or things that rarely change our outcomes.

That´s why Seneca once said, "We suffer more in imagination than in reality."

If you have faced the same problems then here´s how you can fix that and not suffer in one's mind:

  1. Focus on what is now.

Often you overthink because you think too much about the future.

Everything you have is now. Focus on what you have and make the most out of it.

Realize that worrying about the future won't lead to an better future.

  1. Accept the Reality

Anxiety doesn´t bring you anything. No amount of anxiety makes any difference to what is going to happen.

Accept imperfections, uncertainty, and the uncontrollable. Focus on what you can and make the most out of that, do not worry about the uncontrollable.

3. Shift Your Focus

Instead of thinking about worst-case scenarios, visualize best-case outcomes.

Positive thinking isn't about denying problems.

It's about looking for solutions and seeing how you can make the best out of the situation.

A good practice for that is meditating, as a beginner, you can start by meditating for 3 to 5 minutes daily with time you can then increase it.

I hope this has helped you, if you have any questions just reply to this email.

Have a nice day.
